Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone

Its been a while since i've left a track on repeat for as long Calvin Harris' newish song, I'm Not Alone. If it was released a decade ago I'm sure by now it would have its place cemented in the imaginary corridors of classic House music summer anthems. During the few days of sun we had the other week it made me think of a beach somewhere in the Mediterranean in July with halfhearted echos of, "Choooon" being heard from a bunch of dehydrated, hungover and sunburnt 18-25 year olds who have heard the opening lyrics "Can you stay up for the weekend" twice daily on Radio 1 for the past 4 months. Quite frankly I can't wait..
