A little mix of new and old tunes i've been playing quite a bit recently.
I do quite like Florence, although she in danger of becoming one of the many singers with great voices who make songs that I don't like, which is quite annoying. I do like this though! I'm pretty sure this is a cover, but I have no idea who did the original.
The Whitest Boy Alive - Courage
I'm reviewing TWBA's new album Rules for a Freelance position on a website i saw on gumtree and its pretty good. Quite funky.
DutchMassive - The EGO Has Landed
I'm getting back into DutchMassive after a few months of neglect. This track is a bit of a throwback to Phife Dawg's proclamation in A Tribe Called Quest's - Clap Your Hands, "If I ever went solo, my favourite MC would be me!"
Snoop Dogg - Lay Low
Still in the days when Snoop could call himself a gangster and at least a few people would still believe him. Ironically, Lay Low came just before he made the album Rhythm & Gangster and way before he started impersonating T-Pain making a mockery of both those terms . I heard a snipit of this for the first time in years when watching his old MTV show, Snoop Dogg's Tevizle or Shizzle Dizzle or whatever its called, its a good watch if slightly crapizle (sorry couldn't resist).
Bonobo - Days To Come
One of my all time favourite tunes. I can listen to this at pretty much anytime. Makes me think of summer and oceans.
